Of the XX candidate-pictures taken by Cambridgeshire Bird Club members in 2025, one is destined to become Photo of the Year.
Voting is open to club members only. All members can vote once, and voters have 10 points to distribute among up to 3 photos in any combination, e.g. all 10 points for one photo, 5 each for two joint-favourites, or 5, 3, 2 or 7, 2, 1 etc. Included among these candidates are automatically-eligible Pictures of the Month. The competition is promoted on this website and on social media. Voting opens on XX February and closes on XX March.
The photo with the highest points at the end of the competition wins a book token, presented at the AGM on XX March. Again, based on points received, there was a runner- up and also a third place. The top three photos will be published in the 2024 Cambridgeshire Bird Report, and are being placed on this website.
