Voting was open to club members only. All members could vote once, and voters had 10 points to distribute among up to 3 photos, in any combination, e.g. all 10 points for one photo, 5 each for two joint-favourites, or 5, 3, 2 or 7, 2, 1 etc. The competition was promoted on this website and on social media. Voting closed on 10th March in time for announcements at the Club AGM on 13 March.
The photo with the highest points at the end of the competition won a £50 book token, presented at the AGM. Again, based on points received, there was a runner- up and also a third place. The top three photos will be published in the 2025 Cambridgeshire Bird Report, and are published on this website.
